Your second visit will be much shorter than your first visit since there is no health history and exam involved. You can plan to be in the office for about 30 minutes. The goal of the second visit is to inform you of your diagnosis, administer another treatment (unless medically inadvisable) and discuss your recommended treatment plan.
Report of Findings
Dr. Sullivan will answer any questions, including:
1. What's my diagnosis?
2. How can you help me?
3. How often do I need to come in?
4. What will be my treatment cost?
After reviewing the outcomes of your first appointment, Dr. Sullivan will discuss her treatment plan recommendations and notify you if your condition requires care from additional providers. Dr. Sullivan will advise the best treatment and wellness program for your needs -- even if that means referring you to a more appropriate healthcare practitioner. We vow to always keep your best interest at the forefront.
As part of your treatment plan, Dr. Sullivan may provide you with additional recommendations to assist you with your current condition. These may include: ice or heat application instructions, certain activities or positions to avoid, nutritional recommendations, and at home exercises and/or stretches. Each individual is unique. Therefore, we do not do cookie-cutter treatment plans in our office. We believe everyone deserves a customized treatment plan to fit their needs, goals, and--most importantly--their condition. It is our goal that, ultimately, all of our patients reach a destination of restored spinal and joint alignment, optimal movement patterns, proper nutrition, increased immunity, and a positive mental state. We believe in a whole-body approach to achieve whole-body wellness.
