Meet Dr. Caitlin
Dr. Caitlin, or “Dr. C” as her patients affectionately call her, grew up as an athlete in the Chicago area. She played softball for 12 years before suffering a shoulder injury that ended her career. From a young age, Dr. C knew she wanted to pursue a career in healthcare. Her passion for helping people, her fascination with the human body, and her love of sports all collided to lead her down the path to becoming a sports chiropractor.
Before starting chiropractic school, Dr. C worked as a personal trainer. Just prior to that, she earned her bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology and Spanish from the University of Illinois—Urbana-Champaign.
During chiropractic school at Palmer, Dr. C completed extracurricular coursework in extremities (feet, knees, hips, wrists, shoulders, etc.), soft tissues, rehabilitation, and elastic taping. After graduation, she became certified in all three levels of NeuroKinetic Therapy®. She utilizes her unique array of skill sets to approach diagnosis and treatment from various perspectives. When she is not working, Dr. C enjoys traveling, Latin dancing, Zumba, Pilates, biking, and spending time with friends and family. She resides in Palm Harbor with her husband, Peter, and their two pups, Milo and Luna.

NeuroKinetic Therapy®
If you have ever injured yourself, you owe it to your body to try NeuroKinetic Therapy®. When injuries occur, regardless of their magnitude, the body establishes compensation patterns. These compensation patterns become a blueprint in your brain, and until that blueprint is rewritten, you will retain these patterns. NeuroKinetic Therapy® is a unique protocol that addresses and corrects soft tissue dysfunctions. Dr. C is a certified Level 3 NeuroKinetic Therapy® practitioner and the only Level 3 provider in the Tampa Bay area.

Full-Body Chiropractic Care
Dr. C performs gentle adjustments to get stuck bones moving again, which restores motion to the affected joint(s) and reduces tension in the surrounding muscles. The chiropractic techniques she utilizes include Diversified, Thompson, Flexion-Distraction, and extremity adjusting (feet, knees, wrists, shoulders, etc.). Instrument adjusting (Activator & Arthrostim) is also available for those who prefer not to use manual techniques. Adjustments are safe, effective, non-invasive, and can be performed on nearly any joint in the body—not just the spine.

Corrective Exercise
Dr. C teaches her patients special exercises to help strengthen and correct their unique problems. These exercises can be performed in the comfort of your own home and can help address the issue(s) you are suffering from, as well as improve the longevity of your chiropractic adjustments. Muscles and connective tissues can be both a cause and an effect of skeletal misalignment. Therefore, it is important to address the muscles, in addition to the bones. Specific exercises and stretches can help improve posture, relieve tension, provide support to injured areas, and keep your body working in harmony.

Shockwave Therapy
Shockwave Therapy is a non-invasive treatment that uses targeted acoustic waves to stimulate healing in injured or chronically painful tissue. It increases blood flow, breaks up scar tissue and calcifications, and activates the body’s natural repair processes—helping you recover faster without injections or surgery. Shockwave Therapy is commonly used to treat plantar fasciitis, Achilles tendinopathy, patellar tendinopathy, tennis elbow, shoulder tendinopathy, hip pain, and other chronic tendon or soft tissue conditions that haven’t responded to rest, stretching, or traditional treatments. It’s quick, effective, and designed to help you get back to moving with less pain and better function.

Soft Tissue Treatment
Dr. C provides soft tissue treatment tailored to meet each patient's condition and injury. Both manual and instrument-assisted myofascial release therapy offer a natural, conservative treatment approach that relieves musculoskeletal pain for many patients. The benefits of soft tissue treatment include increasing blood circulation, reducing swelling, relaxing muscles, relieving muscle pain and spasms, and aiding in overall recovery and range of motion restoration.

Elastic Taping
Elastic taping may be applied post-treatment to help support both new and old injuries. It works by creating space between soft tissues, which reduces friction, facilitates glide, and decreases swelling and inflammation. It can also enhance movement and provide support without restricting range of motion, making it ideal for recovery and preventing further injury.

Frequently Asked Questions
Who is this practice for?
We work with active adults who care about their body, want to stay functional, and don’t want to “just manage” pain. If you want to keep lifting, running, golfing, training, hiking, or simply moving well as you age—this care is for you.
Do you treat car accident patients?
Yes, we treat patients who have been involved in car accidents. We work with auto insurance companies and attorneys to ensure injured patients get the care and coverage they need to make a full recovery.
How long are appointments?
Initial visits are longer and more comprehensive, typically around 60 minutes, so nothing gets rushed. Follow-up visits are usually 15-45 minutes, depending on what your body needs that day.
How many visits will I need?
That depends on your goals, history, and how long the issue has been around. Most patients notice meaningful changes within the first few visits. Care is always goal-driven—no endless treatment plans or unnecessary appointments.
Do I need to come multiple times per week?
Not usually. Many patients come just once per week at first and then taper off to once every 2-4 weeks when the underlying dysfunction has been addressed. The focus is on efficiency and progress, not frequent visits.
I have a busy schedule—will this fit into my life?
Yes. Appointments are structured to be intentional and efficient, and you’ll leave with clear next steps so your time in the clinic actually moves the needle.
Will this be exhausting or painful?
No. Treatment is tailored to your nervous system and current capacity. The goal is to restore balance and efficiency, not to beat your body into submission.
Do I have to do a ton of exercises at home?
No long laundry lists. You’ll get specific, targeted exercises that address the root issue—usually just a few movements that actually matter.
What if I’ve already tried PT, chiropractic, or strength training?
Many patients come in after “doing all the right things” but still not feeling right. This approach looks at why your body is compensating, not just where it hurts, which is often the missing piece.
Do you take insurance?
We are an out-of-network, cash-based practice. This allows for longer visits, individualized care, and zero restrictions on how your time is used. We are happy to provide you with a superbill, which you can submit to your insurance company for reimbursement.
Why is cash-based care worth it?
You’re paying for:
- Longer, focused appointments
- One-on-one care the entire visit
- Root-cause assessment, not symptom-chasing
- Fewer visits over time due to efficient care
Most patients find this saves time, frustration, and money long-term.
Is this more expensive than traditional care?
Per visit, yes. Over time, no. Our goal is to get to the root cause so your issues resolve for good and you can get back to living your life without limitations. When care is targeted and effective, many patients require fewer visits overall and better long-term results compared to just treating and managing symptoms.
Do you offer packages?
Yes. Packages are available and discussed after your initial visit, once we know exactly what your body needs.
What makes your approach different?
We address the entire body from head to toe. Every visit starts with assessing how your nervous system and muscles are communicating. Using techniques like NeuroKinetic Therapy®, we identify compensation patterns and correct them so your body can move optimally and heal efficiently.
