Welcome to Kinetic Chiropractic!

We utilize a multi-faceted treatment approach.

Full-Body Chiropractic Care

Dr. C performs adjustments by using her hands to get stuck bones moving again. Doing so restores motion and reduces tension and discomfort. Dr. C utilizes Diversified, Thompson, and Flexion-Distraction chiropractic techniques, as well as extremity adjusting (feet, knees, wrists, shoulders, etc.) For patients who dislike standard adjustments or cannot handle them due to their condition, instrument adjusting (Activator & Arthrostim) is available as an alternative. You may or may not hear a "cracking" sound during your adjustment. That noise is actually just gas releasing within the joint capsule—similar to cracking your knuckles. Adjustments are safe, effective, non-invasive, and can be performed on nearly any joint in the body—not just the spine.

NeuroKinetic Therapy®

If you have ever injured yourself, you owe it to your body to try out NeuroKinetic Therapy®. When injuries occur—regardless of their magnitude—the body establishes compensation patterns. These compensation patterns become a blueprint in your brain, and until that blueprint is rewritten, you will retain those compensation patterns. NeuroKinetic Therapy® is a unique protocol that addresses and corrects soft tissue dysfunctions. Dr. C is a certified Level 3 NeuroKinetic Therapy® Practitioner.

Soft Tissue Treatment

Our office provides specific muscular therapy and myofascial release treatment that is tailored to meet each patient's condition and injury. Both manual and instrument-assisted myofascial release therapy offer a natural, conservative treatment approach that relieves musculoskeletal pain for many patients. The benefits of soft tissue treatment may include increasing blood circulation, reducing swelling, relaxing muscles, relieving muscle pain and spasms, and aiding in overall recovery and range of motion. In addition, elastic taping may be administered post-treatment to help support new or old injuries.

Corrective Exercise

We teach our patients special exercises to help strengthen and correct their own unique problems. These exercises can be performed in the comfort of your own home and can improve the effectiveness of your chiropractic adjustments. Muscles and connective tissues can be both a cause and an effect of skeletal misalignment. Therefore, it is important to address the muscles, in addition to the bones. Specific exercises and stretches can help improve posture, relieve tension, provide support to injured areas, and keep your body working in harmony.

Elastic Taping

Elastic taping may be administered post-treatment to help support new or old injuries. Elastic taping helps to create space between the soft tissues, which reduces friction, facilitates glide, and reduces inflammation.

  • DR. CAITLIN SULLIVAN
Dr. Sullivan is a National Board certified chiropractic physician licensed to practice in the state of Florida. She graduated cum laude from the founding chiropractic institution, Palmer College of Chiropractic, in Davenport, IA. While attending chiropractic school, Dr. Sullivan completed extracurricular coursework in treating extremities (feet, knees, hips, wrists, shoulders, etc.), soft tissues (instrument-assisted soft tissue mobilization, trigger-point, and myofascial release), rehabilitation protocols, and elastic taping (RockTape). Prior to starting chiropractic school, Dr. Sullivan worked as a personal trainer. She obtained her personal training certification from the National Personal Training Institute -- a 6-month, in-person program that operates through the Board of Education in each state. Dr. Sullivan was fortunate enough to study abroad in Bilbao, Spain, for 6 months while completing her undergraduate studies. Originally from the Chicago area, Dr. Sullivan grew up as an athlete. She played softball for 12 years before suffering a shoulder injury that ended her career. Since a young age, Dr. Sullivan knew she wanted to pursue an occupation in healthcare.
