Frequently Asked Questions

  • DO YOU TAKE INSURANCE?
    • We are not in-network with any health insurance companies. This means we do not process any health insurance claims. However, we can provide you with a superbill, which is an itemized receipt with all of the insurance codes on it. You can submit the superbill to your insurance company, and if your policy has out-of-network benefits, you will receive reimbursement from your health insurance company directly.
  • DO YOU TREAT PATIENTS WHO HAVE BEEN IN CAR ACCIDENTS?
    • Yes, we treat patients who have been involved in car accidents and handle personal injury cases. This includes billing auto insurance for your visits (no out-of-pocket cost for you) and dealing with attorneys if you have obtained representation for your case.
  • WHAT IS "KINETIC" CHIROPRACTIC?
    • "Kinetic" means motion. In the human body, muscles are what contribute to motion. So, "Kinetic" Chiropractic means Dr. Sullivan addresses muscles, in addition to joints. She does so using a combination of NeuroKinetic Therapy®, soft tissue work (light massage and/or instrument-assisted techniques) and corrective exercise. Dr. Sullivan addresses the entire body from head to toe.

The initial treatment typically includes soft tissue work (a mini-massage) to loosen you up before the adjustment, low-back decompression via flexion-distraction, chiropractic adjustments to the spine and/or extremities (wrists, feet, shoulders, etc.), and NeuroKinetic Therapy® corrections (based on the results of your NeuroKinetic Therapy® assessment).
